Q: anyone know if their are any australia company's in the usa.i want to work for one here and transfer to australia.i work now in a retail/grocery store going on 11 years now.
A: Australian work visas are only issued to people in listed occupations in which workers are in short supply here. The listed occupation requirement applies to independent and employer sponsored (or transferring) employees. See the following for the required occupations and the steps to skills recognition: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/skilled-occupations/index.htm If your occupation is not listed, you would not be able to obtain a work visa even if an employer wished to transfer you, so that should be your starting point in determining the feasibility of that approach.
