Q: Does anyone know what Aldi store managers recieve in the way of company cars, bonus system and the hours that you are expected to work in Australia? Thankyou
A: Don't know much. LoL!! There's a Bonus? Maybe Store manager... definately not Asst. Mgrs. Not from MY personal Experience... From my mothers. She's been working 11 Years as of February 2008. Her time on the clock as Cashier is 15... something. Her time on the clock as Assistant Manager is 19.85? I believe. She was actually offered multiple Store management positions in the Southern States since they are brand new to the whole concept of Aldi's. Her Boss, Makes approximately 70k and works about 50-60 hours a week and is only Salaried for 45 hours. Store mgrs are Salaried... what a jip eh? There are weeks that they work almost 80 hours a week. My mom is usually scheduled for 30+ Hours and works 40-50+ hours. There's a lot to keep up on and Aldi's requires a very LIMITED staff at each store. The Benefits are AMAZING! I don't know what it is, I recall it used to be somewhere around 50$ a mo. for all benefits... including 401k. I believe it's around the same. The schedules are fair... Aldi's until recently has been managed solely by the German HQ. They never used to be open on Sundays. Now they're open until 6pm. Typically the Mgmt. arrive at the store at 5-7AM depending on what needs to be done to start the store. There is a lot of activities that Aldi's keeps changing to keep everyone active at the store. Inventory usually takes 5-6 hours with 6+ people.... Anyway.. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more info!
