Q: I got hired at Ralphs for the summer and I'm wondering if it's really worth my time... I make 8.10 an hr. I'll be working for 4 hrs a day 4-5 days a week. I was told I needed to pay the union.. how much is that? And with CA taxes, how much will I make overall? P.S. I'm only working for a couple of months..
A: If you have nothing else to do, then do it. The money, even without the union fee and taxes, is not worth it. So unless you have alternative plans, just take the offer.
