Q: I have taken over a new premises for my business,it is a large industrial unit and am in the process of constructing an office and reception area.I would like to include a disabled toilet off the reception area but don't know the minimum door widths or area req'd around the toilet and sink.Does anyone know?i'm in the UK.Cheers
A: The door needs to be about 1 meter wide. The actual toilet comprtment needs to be 1.5m wide x 2m deep. If you need a diagram showing fittings positions etc, I can email you one direct or tell you where to look - just let me know.
