Q: I recently got a job at Kmart and they said I would be in the 'Home' section. What does this mean? Does it mean it has to do with furniture, manchester and garden etc etc? And what will I be doing? I was hoping to be on checkout, because that's what I did at my old job, and I really enjoyed it, but I don't think that I will be doing that any more :(
A: Most K-marts and Wal-Marts have floaters in non critical zones. So just because you're in home doesn't mean you won't do register. Depends on how busy the store is. And the "home" section is housewares. Linens, lamps, bath, all that "home" stuff.
