A: Well, unfortunately you have to be at least 14 in NJ to be able to get a work permit and even then not many people would hire you because there are too many restrictions. Even volunteering may be a problem at your age because of liability issues. Aside from that maybe try a kennel, alot of times their looking for help cleaning the kennels out, bathing dogs, etc. Another thing to try, call your local municipal office and see if they have any volunteer programs for the summer, some townships have groups of kids that help to clean litter out of the parks and other areas.
