Q: like I'm not talking about a person 24 hours but is there someone there 24/7?
A: depends on the hotel. Most of the nicer ones I've stayed at have someone there at all times. They may lock the door, but you have a button or somewhat to gain access. Trust me...we never make it to a motel/hotel until the middle of the night.
