Q: Hi does anyone know if I set up a direct debit for my Tv licence does that come off my account straight away? I am moving into my flat this weekend and I'm not sure weather to start the direct debit now or wait till the weekend. thanks!
A: You can request a payment card that lets you pay weely/fortnightly if that suits you better,and you can pay at any shop that has PayPoint. It takes about 7 days for the card to come through so that will give you breathing space and grace to get settled into your new home without worrying. Good luck anyway. ;) Joe.
