Q: while going through this paper especially the ads, it seemed like being sucked into such unneccessay sea of information that it disturbs the peace of mind. Does Goa really need this paper? Is Goa not already over exposed? Will the identity of Goa not diminish with further exposure? I think it has more cons than pros. How can this paper be stopped from being published? or can some one convince me that this is for the betterment of Goa?
A: Dear Friend, Which Goan paper is published for the betterment of Goa. Is Navhind Times fair? Is Herald fair? Is Goa Times fair? Is sunaparant fair? Leave aside papers, which politician strives for the betterment of Goa or goans. Each one has his own strategy. What impact Times of India make? They have money using it to start some new publication. Let them spend it. How many original Goans are in Goa now? Hardly 30 to 40 percent Goans may be in Goa and the rest are all Keralites, Malbaris, Ghantis, Gujratis, Punjabis and outsiders who have made a mess of Goa. Have you seen or known about how was Goa before 1960s? And now coming to your querry, let me tell you no paper can make any impact on any Goan. Goans are known to be "sushegaad".......!
