Are there any horse riding holidays offered around Perth Western Australia?

Q: I belive there used to be a stables in Yanchep but that this has now closed down? Is there a reason for the lack of horsey facilities in WA? Or is it just that I can't find them? Thanks for any info. Thanks Davo - possibly because I am UK based the search isn't as comprehensive. Really appreciate the list - I got further yesterday but seems everything is south of the city, which I guess makes sense. Possible relocation to Yanchep in a year hence my research. Jo

A: You can't find them. With so much information around, on the Internet, it is easy to miss them. I used the "Google" search engine. and typed in "HORSE RIDING IN PERTH". It came up with quite a lot of sites. Some of that selection is listed below. It appears on the face of it that there is no shortage of facilities, but I also am relying on the Internet. The top link also provides for Yanchep. If you want to find it yourself, try "HORSE RIDING IN YANCHEP" in the search box. Also don't forget to hit the button below the search box, so that it does a search of Australian sites only. "THE STABLES" Yanchep Beach Road, Yanchep, WA 6035. Does that appear to be the address of the stables in Yanchep? It is situated at the bottom of the page on the first link. Have a good day! Edit: Northern Hemisphere, explains why you can't find the particular information, that you seek. I have an email link, so if you know the name and it is not listed here, I could have a look. If so, just sing out. I have added four more links - 2 to the TOP of the list and 2 to the BOTTOM of the list below. Both are general searches in Western Australia - the first is for horse riding in Yanchep, which I hope incorporates all riding schools in and around Yanchep (I hope that the one that you have in mind is listed), the other is Western Australia in general. The third is for Whereis.com - a map generator, which I hope, is currently set for Yanchep, but if not, is set to Western Australia. You could also try the 2nd bottom link - it is a general search for riding holidays north of Perth - unfortunately some of the sites which came up are in the eastern side of Australia - sorry, it was general. A bottom link is for the Community Directory and area website for the YANCHEP/TWO ROCKS district and lists quite a few businesses in the district and surrounding areas - quite a few have email addresses. Perhaps someone in the area itself could give you information, regarding horsies. I don't think there is anyway better to find out what is available, than asking a local. After looking through the sites, I can certainly see why you are considering re-location. Best of luck!
