Q: everytime someone asks me where i live i always say san diego even though i live in chula vista? is that right? or are they completly two different cities.
A: Chula Vista is a city within San Diego County. National City, is also a city within San Diego County & so is Imperial Beach. There are parts of San Diego that are considered San Diego even if they are surrounded by 1 or 2 cities. If you look in the phonebook you will see how everything is seperated. I believe the housing on the east side of Coronado & the 5 Freeway is considered San Diego & their you have Del Sol, Nestor, San Ysidro in the surrounding areas. Hope this clears it up for you.
